PATRON SAINT OF ARTISTS

Inspired by Milwaukee’s and the Marcus family’s long-standing commitment to the arts, and named in honor of Catherine of Bologna, the Patron Saint of Artists, our newest hotel, Saint Kate - The Arts Hotel, opened in early June opposite the Marcus Center for Performing Arts. Saint Kate is the first hotel of its kind to celebrate the creative, artistic process of visual, musical, sculptural, and interactive arts, in addition to displaying art throughout the hotel. The 219-room property makes our guests’ ordinary day extraordinary through the exceptional service, five creative food and beverage venues, and artist-created discoveries and delights throughout every public space and guest room in the hotel. Saint Kate also has the best co-working space in town. Make Kate’s home yours when you visit Milwaukee.

The original animated movie The Lion King was released by Disney in 1994. The Lion King is being re-released with a roar on July 19th in CGI – that almost appears to be live action – for the movie’s 25th anniversary. Its release as a summer blockbuster is also well-timed to the Leo (lion) phase of the astrological calendar that begins in late July.
