Conde Nast Traveler once again celebrated Marcus Hotels & Resorts with recognition of three of its properties with 2019 Readers’ Choice Awards: The Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee, Wisconsin as a Top Hotel in the Midwest; Grand Geneva Resort & Spa in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin as a Top 5 Resorts in the Midwest; and The Garland in North Hollywood, CA as Top Hotel in Los Angeles. “We are once again honored to gain the trust and loyalty of Conde Nast Traveler’s discerning readers for three of our excellent properties,” said Greg Marcus, president & CEO of The Marcus Corporation.

As reported by Hotel News Now, with generally fewer ballrooms being built, and as groups seek out experiences that make meetings memorable, boutiques and other hotels are marketing their unique and alternative spaces to boost group bookings. Marcus’ newly opened 219-room Saint Kate – The Arts Hotel is a perfect example with its Black Box Theatre that offers flexible, unique space to accommodate groups of 75 to 100.
